Tried and Tested: Great Value Turnout Rugs
Tried and Tested: Your Horse  13th September - 10th October 2007, Issue 300
IV Horse Four Seasons Winter Turnout

Features: 600 denier 400gm fill, nylon lining, tail flap.

Colour: Purple.

Sizes: 4ft to 7ft.

Tester: Beverly Brightman used this on Gutsher II, her 16.1hh seven-year-old Trakehner gelding with a full clip. He wore it for six months every day nearly all day. He has no problems with rugs.

Great Points: Beverley says: ''A well-made rug that stood up to the wear of a horse turned out full time. All the fastenings were durable, especially the big strong chest buckles, which showed no wear and tear, and the chunky hook-and-twist surcingle fastenings, which were easy to close. He did need an extra rug on cold nights but considering he had no neck cover that's fair enough. It didn't slip or rub. For the thickness, it was good value for money.''

Not so great points: Nothing.
